Between September 19 and October 3, 2024, three separate drivers reported a tall bipedal figure crossing Hollow Road at approximately the same mile marker, each description independently noting an unusual loping gait rather than a run.
Field Investigator Okafor visited the site twice, recovering a partial track impression on the second visit that has not been conclusively matched to any known local species. The impression has been logged and photographed but not removed from the county’s jurisdiction pending a landowner agreement.
No further sightings have been reported since October 3. The case remains open pending the spring thaw, when investigators plan a follow-up ground survey.
